Miss Kaitlyn

Recreational Teacher

Kaitlyn began her dance training at Expressions Dance Company at the age of 3. She danced competitively with the studio until graduating in 2021. She has trained in a variety of styles such as ballet, lyrical, jazz and contemporary. Throughout her dance career she has trained at various dance schools such as the School of Alberta Ballet and the Martha Graham Contemporary School. Kaitlyn has also been invited to compete in the Dance Canada Finals as well as participated in the Disney Parade in 2016. In 2019, Kaitlyn began teaching at Expressions Dance Company, and later in 2020, began choreographing competitive routines at the studio. Kaitlyn is now attending McMaster University in Hamilton completing an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Behaviour. While at McMaster, she continues to dance with the Mac Dance recreational team as well as choreograph dances for their showcase! Kaitlyn has a  passion for both dance and teaching and is so excited to continue this here at Expressions!
