International Dance Teaching Standards - Developing Teacher

Juliana started her dance training at the age of 4, at Expressions Dance Company. She was awarded “Most Outstanding Recreational Dancer” in 2016, and she joined the competitive team the following year. She was a member of Expressions’ competitive team until she graduated from high school. Juliana has trained in a variety of styles, such as ballet, tap, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, and jazz. She has been fortunate enough to have a number of different performance opportunities throughout her years as a competitive dancer. In 2023, she was selected to compete with the Canadian National Tap Team at the World Tap Dance Championships in Germany. Juliana has also been invited to compete in title competitions such as Dance Canada Solo Finals and Canadian Dance Finals. Her teaching career at Expressions Dance Company started in 2022. She is currently attending McMaster University, studying Humanities. She is excited to continue teaching at Expressions!
